BRD Group recently hosted representatives from Tanelec Limited, Tanzania’s largest transformer manufacturer, to discuss potential partnership opportunities. The visit enabled Tanelec to gain an in-depth understanding of BRD’s innovative polyurethane insulation board solutions.
“We were honored to host the Tanelec team, which is a true industry leader serving utility and private sector customers in East and Central Africa,” said Can Liang, Sales Director at BRD. “Our insulated panel systems can significantly improve the efficiency and durability of their electrical equipment enclosures, substations and modular field offices.”
Established in 1981, Tanelec is a leading supplier of distribution transformers, power transformers, switchgear, metering devices and related products in the region. The company also operates the largest transformer refurbishment and repair center in East and Central Africa.
BRD’s insulated panel solutions utilize polyurethane foam injected between metal surfaces to provide superior insulation, fire protection and structural strength. These properties make the panels ideal for transformer enclosures, substation buildings and field offices where temperature control and protection are critical.
